ACU hosted a panel discussion

focused on the role of civil_society

On January 11, 2022, the ACU hosted a panel discussion in its #Gaziantep office which attended by Mr. Randall Kaailau, Political Affairs Officer, US department_START, and representatives of #Syrian NGOs, including #Al_Bousla#IDA#LDHR#Hope_revival#Hurass_network.

The four-hour discussion focused on the role of #civil_society and the United Nations resolution related to cross-border operations, and priorities to support #stability#political process, constitutional committee, #detainees‘ file, and normalization.

#NGOs Representatives stressed the importance of equitable support for stability programs, foremost the #education_sector#economic_empowerment and #health_services.

They also touched on the continuation of the UN resolution on cross-border operations, stressing the need to support #governance structures that support the political process, which preserve constants and values of the Syrian people in building a free and just state. where all Syrians live with #dignity and get rid of #Assad_regime dictatorship.
