It is a health information system for surveilling and monitoring epidemiological diseases. It was established in the affected areas outside the regime control after the collapse of the health system in the middle of 2013.

The WASH program was established in conjunction with EWARN in 2013 to be one of the most important sources of surveillance indicators of waterborne diseases, epidemics, and to monitor water quality and its suitability for drinking and human consumption.
