Schools in Northern Syria camps

The Information Management Unit (IMU) of the Assistance Coordination Unit (ACU) issues the Schools in Northern Syria Camps report annually. This is the 2nd edition of the report, which sheds the light on the effects of the ongoing war in Syria and the displacement on education, the displaced children educational needs, and the schools in camps needs from different perspectives. The report consists of 9 sections: Methodology; General Information; Schools Buildings; WASH in Schools; School Equipment; Schools levels and Curricula; Students; Phycological Support and Students with Special Needs; Teachers; and Priorities and Recommendations.
The total number of the assessed camps by ACU enumerators in the report is 226 IDP camps distributed within 8 clusters in Aleppo and Idleb governorates which included 72 schools only. The schools are located within 62 IDP camps whereas there are no schools at all in the other 164 assessed camps.
